Rebus gurita dengan tambahan garam dan minyak wijen pada air rebusan hingga empuk. Angkat dan tiriskan. Potong-potong. Sisihkan.

Adonan takoyaki: Aduk rata tepung terigu, tepung beras, baking powder, garam, Royco Kaldu Ayam, dan air menggunakan whisk hingga tercampur rata.

Tambahkan telur, aduk hingga mulus atau tidak ada tepung yang menggumpal. Saring adonan bila masih ada tepung yang menggumpal.

Panaskan wajan cetakan takoyaki di atas api sedang, olesi dengan minyak. Tuang adonan ke dalam cetakan, taruh gurita ke bagian tengahnya. Tambahkan irisan daun bawang.

Masak hingga bagian pinggirannya terlihat matang dan kering, kemudian balikkan dan masak hingga matang. Angkat.

Pindahkan ke atas piring saji. Beri katsuobushi, Jawara Saus Sambal Extra Hot, Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise, dan nori bubuk. Sajikan.
