Timlo, masakan khas kota Solo yang sulit ditemui kehadirannya di kota lainnya. Sekilas terlihat sama halnya seperti menu nasi soto, tapi timlo ternyata punya masa lalu yang menarik untuk diketahui. Yang jelas dari segi rasa, ada kenikmatan yang terasa hakiki, apalagi saat menyantapnya di pagi hari. Jadi bagi kamu yang merindukannya dan belum bisa mampir ke Solo, yuk, bayar tuntas dengan mengolah resep berikut! Tapi untuk kamu yang penasaran dengan bentuk dan rasanya, kenalan dulu sebelum mulai memasaknya, yuk!

Kisah Kasih Antara Kimlo dan Timlo

Sebelum masuk ke timlo, pernahkah kamu mendengar makanan yang dinamakan kimlo? Buat yang sering mampir ke resepsi pernikahan, pasti sering berjumpa dengan hidangan berkuah ini. Topping-nya lengkap dan unik, karena ada daging, jamur, bihun, hingga kembang tahu dan bunga sedap malam. Dahulunya makanan ini diperkenalkan oleh komunitas Tionghoa yang bermigrasi ke Indonesia, dan kini sup kimlo dinikmati sebagai makanan sehari-hari hingga sebagai menu seremonial.

Alkisah pada dekade 60an, ada seorang warga kota Solo punya interpretasi sendiri dengan hidangan kimlo tadi. Kemudian ia berkreasi dengan bahan-bahan yang saat itu tersedia. Hasilnya, lahirlah “timlo” yang kini menjadi masakan berkuah legendaris juga. Sosis solo adalah topping-nya yang paling khas, kemudian diikuti dengan hadirnya ati ampela dan telur ayam yang dipindang. Jodoh sejatinya adalah sepiring nasi hangat, dan sekian begitu saja. Terlihat lebih sederhana, tapi rasanya begitu hangat dan menyegarkan. Benar-benar sebuah hidangan berenergi yang pas untuk memulai harimu!

Kuah: Panaskan minyak, tumis bumbu halus, cengkih, daun salam, dan pala bubuk hingga harum.

Tuang air dan daging ayam, masak hingga mendidih. Tambahkan Royco Kaldu Ayam, dan Bango Kecap Manis Light. Masak hingga daging ayam empuk. Angkat.
