Masakan khas Sulawesi Selatan memang tidak akan pernah berhenti menggoda para penggemar makanan. Selain menu-menu legendaris seperti coto, pallu mara, sop saudara, dan banyak lainnya; tentu ada satu yang tidak boleh ketinggalan. Itulah dia sop konro, atau iga sapi yang dimasak dengan berbagai macam rempah dengan rasa yang sangat unik.

Cara membuatnya memang membutuhkan waktu cukup panjang. Maklum, iga sapi perlu direbus cukup lama agar matang dan empuk. Selebihnya membuat kuah sop konro menjadi prioritas tersendiri yang sangat penting agar masakan ini begitu nikmat. Rasa manisnya nanti datang dari bubuhan Bango Kecap Manis yang begitu legit. Perbedaannya nanti mungkin adalah pada tahap menikmatinya. Orang Makassar asli biasa menikmatinya dengan buras, namun tentu dengan nasi putih yang ditaburi bawang merah goreng saja sudah sedap luar biasa.

Ada lagi preferensi lainnya dengan menggunakan iga yang dibakar dengan sup yang disediakan terpisah. Namun kali ini, Chef ingin mengajakmu untuk membuat versi orisinalnya. Kalau sudah siap, yuk ikut Chef memasak bersama di dapur!

sdm kluwak, ambil daging buahnya dan rendam dengan 2 sdm air panas

Cara membuat

Rebus iga sapi kira-kira selama 90 menit. Tambahkan jahe, cengkih, lengkuas, air asam jawa, daun salam dan garam. Matikan api dan sisihkan.

Panaskan minyak di atas api sedang. Tumis bumbu halus, tambahkan Royco Kaldu Sapi.

Tambahkan bumbu tumis ke dalam panci berisi iga sapi rebus. Rebus hingga daging iga lunak serta bumbu meresap. Tuangkan Bango Kecap Manis, aduk hingga rata.

Angkat dan tuang ke dalam mangkuk. Sop Konro siap disajikan. Tambahkan daun bawang, bawang merah goreng dan perasan jeruk nipis sesuai selera.
