Satu yang menarik adalah resep tim ikan khas Hong Kong yang aku beri twist sedikit dengan menggunakan kecap manis. Hasilnya tetap menjadi hidangan yang sehat, bersih, simpel, namun lezat! Ada beberapa rahasia yang kamu harus ketahui agar rasanya maksimal.

Masakan kukusan ikan mengandalkan kesegaran bahan karena bahan-bahannya yang simpel dan karakter rasa yang bersih. Maka dari itu, penting bagi kamu untuk mendapatkan ikan kerapu segar untuk resep ini. Selanjutnya, bumbui dengan garam secara merata dan air jeruk nipis untuk menghilangkan adanya bau amis dan menambah cita rasanya.

Saat mengukus, pastikan agar jumlah air mencukupi dan kukus hanya dalam kondisi suhu paling panas. Untuk ikan ukuran sedang ini, kukus selama 12-15 menit saja dan matangnya ikan bisa dilihat dari mulutnya yang telah menganga. Matikan kompor dan opsional, jangan langsung buka tutup dandang terlalu cepat. Biarkan sekitar dua menit sebelum dibuka dan baru disajikan.

Cara membuat

Membumbui ikan kerapu dengan jeruk nipis dan garam dalam pinggan tahan panas.

Taruh ikan di dalam pinggan tahan panas, lumuri ikan dengan garam dan air jeruk nipis secara merata. Diamkan selama 10 menit, sisihkan.

Bumbu lumuran tim ikan berupa kecap manis.

Aduk rata Bango Kecap Manis, Royco Kaldu Ayam, merica, minyak wijen, dan air. Tambahkan bawang putih dan jahe, aduk.

Melumuri ikan kerapu dengan bumbu sebelum dikukus.

Lumuri ikan dengan campuran bumbu secara merata hingga ke bagian rongga perut. Tambahkan daun bawang, cabai merah, dan wortel di atas ikan. Tutup pinggan dengan aluminium foil.

Ikan kerapu tengah dikukus menggunakan dandang.

Kukus dalam dandang panas hingga matang selama sekitar 15 menit.

Tim ikan kerapu tengah disajikan bersama satu sachet bumbu.
